MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center Program
About This Program
Rural cardiology fellowships offer high-volume, hands-on training in cath and EP, often with earlier procedural exposure. Fellows manage broad pathology across all acuity levels due to limited local subspecialists. Close faculty mentorship, autonomy, and continuity of care from clinic to inpatient are emphasized. Diverse cases and limited referral options foster strong diagnostic and procedural independence.
