About This Program
Ascension St Vincent's cardiovascular disease fellowship program is an academically rigorous training program, balancing the supportive atmosphere of a community program with the opportunities afforded by a single, large tertiary care center. Subspecialty experience is extensive, with the fellows gaining significant exposure to electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology and advanced imaging (11,500 total heart procedures in one year).
