About This Program
The UTRGV Internal Medicine Residency Program at HCA is primarily based at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, Texas, with a secondary location at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Our multi-site program is designed to provide comprehensive training in a diverse and dynamic environment, preparing residents for successful careers in internal medicine. Our program emphasizes a strong foundation in clinical skills, patient-centered care, and evidence-based medicine.
