SUNY Upstate Medical University Program
About This Program
Upstate Medical University serves 17 counties spanning urban, suburban, and rural areas comprised of just under 2 million people. With University Hospital (whose primary mission is to serve the underserved while supporting all other hospitals in the region) flanked by a private hospital and a VA hospital all located in a city with a large refugee population, trainees will be exposed to all aspects of internal medicine in a collegial environment making for a worthwhile residency experience.
