Mt. Sinai is a busy "safety net" teaching hospital located on the near west side of the city that serves a culturally diverse patient population. Our program includes 36 categorical & 3 preliminary residents. The majority of our graduates pursue careers as hospitalists. Those seeking fellowship training (about one third of a class) are successful and obtain fellowships in critical care, cardiology, palliative care, nephrology, rheumatology, and endocrinology.
