Train at a ~910-bed teaching hospital, one of Florida's largest, in fast-growing Polk County. LRH is a Provisional Level I Trauma Center (Florida state-designated, 2025) and operates one of the busiest single-site emergency departments in the nation (200,000+ visits, 2024). Distinctives: strong scholarly output, AI-integrated POCUS training, a 6+2 wellness-based block schedule, and robust mentorship, leadership, and procedural curricula.
