About This Program

Our residency program trains physicians in a safety-net hospital in California's diverse Central Valley. As the only Level I trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento, residents manage high-acuity cases with unparalleled autonomy. The multifaceted curriculum includes protected academic time, simulation, social determinants of health education, and procedural training. Trainees also benefit from a wide range of fellowship & research opportunities.
