Overview

Our program specializes in training in applied clinical informatics. The MetroHealth System is in the top 1% nationally of health care systems in implementation and use of the Epic electronic health record, as measured by HIMSS. Fellows earn a certificate in health informatics from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and become certified Epic Physician Builders. Fellows have faculty appointments at CWRU and work as attending physicians, using Epic, 30% of their fellowship time.
