University of Wyoming (Casper) Program
About This Program
The fellowship consists of a variety of educational activities including in & outpatient geriatric experiences, skilled nursing facility experiences, & clinical rotations including neurology, hospice, palliative care, urology, and geriatric psychiatry. Teaching strategies include direct mentoring, readings, journal clubs, ECHO lecture, Grand rounds & self-directed learning. The program is particularly formulated for the development of leaders in rural geriatrics. There is no call or weekends.
