We are a 1+2 program committed to health equity, with aims to meet the needs of underserved, rural populations. 1st year residents are immersed in world-class training at Duke Health, then transition to our rural, community partner, Maria Parham Health, for more autonomous, one-on-one learning. We prioritize continuity clinics, allowing residents to cultivate rewarding patient relationships. Our residents emerge highly competent, confident, & prepared for rewarding Family Medicine careers.
