Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine (Battle Creek) Program
About This Program
We are the first and only WMed residency sponsored outside of Kalamazoo, MI, where the medical school is located. Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is our sole sponser and as a previously nonteaching hospital, sponsored the addition of 18 new residency slots for WMed. The community of Battle Creek as well as the hospital have welcomed and engaged with the residents and they have become part of the community. Our residents who leave after training are missed.
