Northeast Georgia Medical Center Program
About This Program
Our program is a suburban rural program set in the mountain lake community of Gainesville, GA. Our curriculum is unique in that it is intended to develop resident leaders. We also have a strong community focus. During leadership month all PGY2s do a rotation together working on personal, staff, and community leadership where they devise a community wide legacy project as a class. Our curriculum also includes NICU, UC, and Procedure rotations that help physicians gain training for rural settings.
