At AKFMR we offer a rigorous curriculum to prepare you for full-scope family medicine, with an emphasis on rural & underserved communities. Most training occurs in Anchorage, Alaska caring for a diverse, underserved urban population. Our patients in clinic speak >90 languages. All residents spend time in remote Alaska, working in small communities off the road system.
