Overview

Cahaba-UAB Family Medicine Residency is an unopposed, community-based family medicine training program accredited by the ACGME with Osteopathic recognition. Cahaba Medical Care, the sponsoring institution for the program, is a Federally Qualified Health Center and Alabama's only Teaching Health Center. The program has four distinct tracks located in rural parts of the state (Centreville & Marion/Camden, AL), and an urban underserved part of the state (West End, Birmingham, AL).
