About This Program
Our program is situated in Winston Salem, NC, a beautiful part of the country with a perfect blend of seasons. It is a city with a thriving arts and outdoors scene, and a low cost of living. We are a level 1 Pediatric Burn and Trauma center and have a high acuity/admission rate. Unique offerings include: wilderness medicine days, tactical/disaster medicine exposure, cadaver labs, and community Peds ED opportunities. Finally, fellows are placed in a supervisory role early on in their training
