Program & Work Schedule

The Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship at Albany Medical Center offers advanced, hands-on training in adult and pediatric cardiac, thoracic, and vascular anesthesia. We provide care for over 450 open-heart cases annually and support a robust structural heart program (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman). The program includes rotations in critical care, perfusion, cardiology, and an elective at NYU Langone. Fellows gain strong TEE skills and are well prepared for the Advanced PTE Exam.
