UMass is the safety net hospital system for Central MA and is home to a Level 1 trauma center, high risk OB service, liver transplant and advanced cardiac and vascular care. Our close knit, medium size program offers excellent clinical experience including early subspecialty exposure. Weekly half day protected didactic time for clinical anesthesia residents. Twice yearly mock oral and OSCE sessions. 12 simulation sessions per year in our high-fidelity sim center.
