USC/Los Angeles General residency program includes training in four best-in-class health systems. Residents experience distinct care settings with differing practice models/patient populations. Keck Hospital of USC with the highest case mix index nationally, LA General Medical Center, one of the largest safety-net hospitals in the US which operates a Burn Center, a Level III NICU, and a Level-One Trauma Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Children's Hospital Los Angeles .
