Our allergy immunology program at the University of Puerto Rico serves a predominantly Spanish-speaking population with a high prevalence of atopic diseases, including asthma, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, and anaphylaxis. We conduct clinical research in collaboration with other subspecialties and follow the ACGME curriculum recommendations. Our graduates successfully pass the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and most conduct clinical care in Puerto Rico.
