UPMC Medical Education Program
About This Program
The UPMC ME TY program offers comprehensive training in an integrated healthcare system. Residents rotate clinically in medicine, surgery, EM and their advanced specialty, also conducting research. Structured education in evidence-based medicine and patient safety, mentored patient centered care projects and monthly protected TY education sessions are provided. There is exposure to diverse populations in a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, UPMC Vision and Rehab institutes and the VA Pittsburgh.
