The Transitional Year Program features a comprehensive curriculum based on seven domains of well-being: intellectual, occupational, social, emotional, physical, environmental and spiritual. Through activities, didactics, and structured emotional and mental resources, Residents learn how to strike work-life balance despite the inherent stressors of physician training. Scholarly activity is strongly encouraged and each resident is allotted a dedicated month in research to complete and publish.
