About This Program

The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Transitional Year Program is a one-year residency training for physicians pursuing careers that require a one-year internship prior to specialty training. Interns participate in a range of clinical rotations such as medicine and surgery to care for a diverse group of patients. During their year, interns develop their clinical skills, work in multidisciplinary teams, and build a strong foundation to advance to the next level of training.
