About This Program
We offer electives in the advanced specialties into which our Transitional Year program feeds. These include private practice rotations in IR and DR (subject to the approval of receiving advanced program), Radiation Oncology, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, PMR, and Neurology. Since we interview applicants who are competitive for these advanced programs, we believe that exposure to the private practice environment provides a useful perspective to the trainee before starting advanced training.
