University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson Program

Tucson, AZLast Updated: 2/19/2026

About This Program

The UA EM&Peds program trains physicians to be fully competent emergency physicians and pediatricians. Graduates become experts in pediatric emergency medicine through a breath of medical knowledge and experience rather than through a focused area of study. Southern Arizona provides a rich geography and culture that perfectly complements both pediatric and emergency medicine training. Graduates fit into a variety of career opportunities: community, academics, private, peds and EM fellowships.
