Overview

Our well-established, well-supported program has been active since 1995 and is ACGME accredited. Residents receive robust training in both internal medicine and psychiatry at the University of Kansas Medical Center, a 993-bed, level I trauma center, quaternary care hospital, and the Kansas City VA Medical Center, a 142 bed hospital. Residents benefit from the mentorship of 8 dually-trained faculty and participate in Med-Psych specific didactics twice monthly.
