Overview

Our program serves a diverse, underserved population on Chicago's South Side, offering unique exposure to high-acuity cases including penetrating brain injuries and complex neurocritical illness. As the busiest regional level-1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, trainee gain valuable hands-on experience managing critically ill patients with limited prior access to care-developing both clinical expertise and health equity awareness.
