About This Program
Our fellowship provides high-acuity training at one of Chicagos busiest Level 1 trauma centers, serving a diverse and medically complex South Side population. The NeuroICU is the primary service for neurotrauma patients, with among the highest volumes of shock trauma and penetrating brain injury. Fellows gain extensive experience with severe TBI, stroke, status epilepticus, multimodal monitoring, and advanced neurosurgical interventions.
