About This Program
The UAB Neurocritical Care program provides a dynamic, collaborative environment where critical care teams work closely with general neurology, vascular neurology, and neurosurgery services to deliver world-class patient care. Our 42 bed ICU is continually staffed by 2 interdisciplinary neurointensivist-lead teams. Fellows benefit from close collaboration with experts from multiple specialties to serve in a high-acuity population in a largely underserved state.
