WVU Hospital is a 690-bed state of the art facility. Inpatient services include MICUs, Neurocritical Care service, Trauma/Surgical ICU, and a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. The Palliative Medicine Inpatient service helps care for patients with LVADs and those on ECMO. The team also cares for individuals on the inpatient hospice service. The Palliative Medicine Outpatient team sees patients in the oncology, neurology, cardiovascular clinics as well as running a general palliative care clinic.
