We have a variety of educational settings. Inpatient rotations are at a university teaching hospital, and at a nonprofit community hospital. Both hospitals have palliative units, staffed by multidisciplinary teams led by fellowship trained board certified palliative physicians. Hospice options are many, including for profit national companies and a local nonprofit one. There are elective opportunities in the academic setting or in the community setting. Lubbock is a regional medical hub.
