Prisma Health/University of South Carolina SOM Columbia (Columbia) Program
About This Program
Our program's goal is to foster compassionate guides for patients and loved ones navigating serious illness while also nurturing leaders, advocates, and educators in the field of hospice and palliative medicine. Fellows have the opportunity to provide care across a wide breadth of locations including the emergency room, clinic, nursing homes, several ICUs, a hospice house, and patients' homes. Fellows train alongside an interdisciplinary faculty to provide evidence-based whole-person care.
