Our program benefits from resources and training at three sites with strong interdisciplinary teams: Maine Medical Center, a tertiary academic medical center, the Togus VA Medical System, which includes an inpatient palliative medicine unit and long-term care units, and Hospice of Southern Maine, providing experience with a Medicare home-hospice and inpatient hospice facility.
