Overview

Fellows in the hospice and palliative medicine fellowship work as members of the interdisciplinary consultation team and receive clinical training in the full range of palliative care assessment, multidimensional care planning, counseling patients and families, supporting ethical health care decision-making, and working with referring physician teams to implement palliative care recommendations in the inpatient and outpatient setting. The fellowship focuses on the pediatric population.
