Yale-New Haven Medical Center Program
About This Program
Fellows training at Yale in hospice and palliative medicine work with a palliative care inpatient/outpatient team at Yale New Haven Hospital/Smilow Cancer Hospital that includes dedicated chaplains, social workers, a pharmacist and psychologist, along with physicians, APRNs, and RNs. This team is dedicated to mentoring each fellow and flexibly adapting the program in real time for fellow success. All fellows also rotate to 3 different, unique local hospice programs/settings, as well as the VA.
