Overview

The UMMC urology faculty teach residents on rounds, quality improvement projects, weekly conferences, monthly journal club and periodic visiting professors. The urology rotation schedule is structured to provide a graduated responsibility for residents in clinics, operating rooms in addition to the opportunity to participate in basic and clinical investigation. The program provides training in minimally invasive surgery, including the da Vinci robotic system.
