Our program's mission is to educate and develop confident, capable, and autonomous Cardiothoracic surgeons and advance the practice of Cardiothoracic Surgery through teaching state of the art, compassionate, patient-centered care. The University of Rochester has robust clinical programs in Adult and Pediatric Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery and is the leader in CT surgery in Upstate New York with a strong focus in minimally invasive approaches to all aspects of cardiothoracic disease.
