Overview

The department sponsors the attendance at one national conference (APSA or AAP) per year as well as several training courses (MIS, Oncology, Colorectal). The fellow also spends one month on a concentrated oncology rotation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in Manhattan. Opportunities for advanced single site and neonatal minimally invasive surgery, as well as PDA ligations, are ample on the general surgery service.
