Fellows are trained to be proficient in core elements and a wide-ranging repertoire of skill in the basics of all of the major pediatric specialties. Clinical rotations in pediatric surgery as well as PICU and NICU in the first year lay the foundation the necessary experience for appropriate training. The fellow's second year of training is devoted exclusively to pediatric surgery. A robust program of didactic learning is accomplished through our weekly conference and teaching schedule.
