About This Program
The SCC program at LSU Health Shreveport offers an exceptional experience where, as the only surgical fellowship program at the Academic Medical Center,fellows are treated as junior faculty with the ability to take trauma call with graduated autonomy and even independently. Annual trauma activations total 3,400with 25% penetrating. The opportunity is expansive. Critical Care case log requirements are met 5- to 46-fold during an academic year.
