UVMMC is dedicated to providing academically focused and comprehensive training in General Surgery. Our program includes five clinical years and opportunity for a research year in Vermont's recreation rich and vibrant landscape. We serve patients in the state of Vermont, upstate New York, northern New Hampshire, and Canada. UVM physicians give general surgical residents substantial surgical exposure preparing them for careers in general surgery, academics and surgical fellowship training.
