Texas Tech University HSC El Paso Program
About This Program
Our program is located on the US/Mexico Border in El Paso Texas with a very unique population that we serve. We are the only Level I Trauma Center in a 270-mile radius of El Paso. Our aim is to train broad based general surgeons ready for clinical practice or fellowships. Residents perform a high volume of procedures as surgeons - on average approximately 1,100 cases during the five-year residency.
