UPMC Medical Education (Pittsburgh) Program
About This Program
Our program offers high-volume cutting-edge training provided by established and rising leaders in surgery in a variety of hospitals settings. The program emphasizes progressive autonomy and innovative approaches to surgical training and includes 2 additional years for professional development to gain skills and competencies needed to become a future leader in surgery. Finally, the program maintains a supportive 'family' culture resulting in an attrition rate less than 5% over the last 20 years.
