About This Program
High acuity and high volume at Mississippi's only Level 1 Trauma Center, only Children's Hospital and only Transplant Center. Outstanding community general surgery rotations, one at the country's largest critical access hospital. PG4 and 5 residents are the most senior trainee on all rotations, except for pediatric surgery where the pediatric surgery fellow truly augments the experience for the PG4. Jackson, MS is a hidden gem. Easy to live in and lots to do.
