Overview

Upon approval, the Program provides one trip of the residents choice in their PGY-3 year and travel for presentations. The area has a reasonable cost of living: most residents able to buy homes. Metro area commute times to work <10 minutes. Exposure to private practice, colorectal surgery practice, VA Medical Center, rural community hospital, great exposure to complex HPB disease, liver and kidney transplant. Broad range of operative opportunities and autonomy. Study material & loupes provided.
