The primary clinical site, OSF St. Francis Medical Center serves as the tertiary/quaternary referral hospital for a 16-hospital system, which provides a diverse patient population with exceptional pathology and acuity. The Dept. of Surgery participates in multiple quality programs, which monitors and leads to excellent patient outcomes. Residents will have access to nationally acclaimed faculty and leading institutes in research, cancer care, trauma, and emergency surgical services.
