The overall goal of the Orange Park Medical Center General Surgery residency program is to provide a supportive learner centered educational environment - where residents develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for high quality autonomous surgical practice. More specifically, we will provide a learner-centered, competency-based, supportive environment where residents develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for high-quality, independent surgical practice.
