Overview

Stony Brook University Hospital serves the entire Suffolk County of Long Island; all major neuro-vascular trauma and neuro-oncologic cases arrive at our institution. We offer an academic hospital setting as well as community hospital and private practice settings. Numerous cases with high-velocity traumatic brain and spine injuries are seen at Stony Brook University's Level 1 Trauma Center, while more routine outpatient CT and MRI's are offered through our community affiliated hospitals.
