Overview

The University of Utah Hospital is a major tertiary care center, serving a large catchment area encompassing Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and parts of Nevada and Western Colorado. Training sites include the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Primary Children's Hospital, and the VA, which gives residents the skills to succeed in any practice setting. Trainees have abundant daily interaction with nationally recognized faculty. Scholarly opportunities including research and global health are encouraged.
