Overview

Regional level-1 trauma center, cancer center, and transplant center, VUMC provides exposure to a wide range of pathology and diverse patient populations. Our IR trainees participate in high level IR cases as well as bread and butter cases, including but not limited to TIPS, PVR-TIPS, BATO/BRTO, TACE, Y90, ablations, trauma embolizations, UAE, PAE, vertebral body augmentation, and complex venous reconstructions. This experience is provided in a supportive, collegial environment.
