Overview

Our program leverages Dell Medical School and Austin State Hospital, Integral Care, Travis County Sheriff's Office as well as Ascension Seton to train forensic psychiatrists who will address the shortage in Texas. Graduates of the program will be primed to address inequalities faced by individuals with mental health needs in the justice system, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve. The fellowship's curriculum involves a close collaboration between Texas medical schools.
