About This Program
The UT Health San Antonio Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program offering training in criminal, civil, correctional, and military forensic psychiatry. Fellows conduct court-ordered evaluations, work in hospitals and detention centers, and participate in civil rotations. The program features robust didactics, one-on-one supervision, teaching roles, electives, law courses, and no call duties, with a strong focus on scholarship and time to study for boards.
